The success of The Gibbon Bridge would not be possible without the hard work, dedication and loyalty of “The Team”. Many employees have worked at the Gibbon Bridge since the very first day - Philip Holland and Susan McGill.
The longest serving title though must be awarded to Robert Lowe - The Head Gardner who worked for Janet as a general handyman even before the Hotel began. We are delighted to say that a grand total of further nine employees – have been employed for over ten years.
A perfect balance of individual’s personalities, differing skills, experience and professionalism brings about successful teamwork, which ensures that each guest has a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay with us.
Within the grounds of the hotel a statue bears the Latin inscription meaning “Forever the Richer” whilst originally located on the Bishopgate offices of the Bank of Scotland and applied to their bank notes, at the Gibbon Bridge Janet and The Team always hope the inscription reflects the feelings of guests at the hotel.
“I believe that it is the inner belief in the product and service we offer that is why so many employees are still with me today and combine into such a committed team”
