The Bakery at The Gibbon Bridge - Freshly baked...

A bakery is something you might not expect to find at a hotel, but for those of you who know Janet Simpson's history, of baking pies, cakes and confectionery for sale at Blackburn Market, The Bakery at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel can come as no surprise.

The Bakery has been an integral part of the hotel's operation since 1987 and consistently provides a wonderful daily selection of fresh breads, confectionery, jams, ice cream and desserts for the hotel and restaurant. Many secret traditional recipes are used which have been in The Simpson family for many years and a firm favourite of guests is Lemon Cheese, which is also served at breakfast and with afternoon teas.

The Bakery also supplies many local people from surrounding villages and guests of the hotel with fresh daily produce.  We currently have home made Gibbon Bridge Christmas Puddings @ £7, Mince Pies @30p and Christmas Cakes from £16.

24-hour notice is required for orders to be prepared and packed ready for you to collect.

Sunday 7th March 2010 to Thursday 25th March 2010 (Excludes Saturday Nights) from £75.00 pp & the rate just gets better and better the longer you stay!!
