Restaurant & Private Dining Functions near Clitheroe and Preston

Summer 2012 sees the introduction of two new dining options here at Gibbon Bridge. Our Simple Food Menu is now available from 5.30pm to 6.30pm (excluding Saturdays).  It is a perfect time to dine, especially if you've had an afternoon drive in the Ribble Valley and want to enjoy an early dinner before returning home.  The second option is in response to the many requests we have to dine Al Fresco.  From May 3rd to August 23rd Janet will personally be cooking a series of  Al Fresco lunches for up to 14 guests.  Lunch will be served on a "Captains Table" at 1.00pm so we suggest arriving from 12.30pm to meet other fellow diners.  Click here to view our new Summer menus.  Prior booking is essential for both options.

If you are looking for a destination restaurant near Preston, or a restaurant near Clitheroe, the Gibbon Bridge is situated in the beautiful Forest of Bowland and offers fine dining at its best with fabulous views and gardens.  The Gibbon Bridge restaurant near Clitheroe has always been a wonderful place to eat with many diners returning time after time, which is a commendation in itself.

The restaurant is open daily but, if you are looking for somewhere to dine privately, there are several options available to you.  There is the new contemporary Orangery adjoining the terrace allowing the outside in, or the Cavalier Lounge with its open fire, comfy chairs and dining for upto 40 guests.  Or for something a little bit different in the summer why not have an Al fresco party with your own personal chef?

Whatever your style there is something for everyone at the Gibbon Bridge and dining is always an experience to be savoured and never forgotten...
