We are recommencing our musical afternoon teas in February with an Afternoon of Romance on Tuesday, 14th February. You don't have to be a couple to join us - but there will be some romantic notes in the air!
Sam Hampson is the pianist and full afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones, cream, preserves, cakes & tea is served at £16 per person.

MOTHER'S DAY - SUNDAY 18TH MARCH 2012
What better way to spoil MUM than to bring her to Gibbon Bridge for a special three course Sunday lunch? We have two sittings: one at midday and another at 2.30pm. The cost is £30 for adults and £15 for 1/2 portions for children.
A deposit of £10 per person is required to secure your booking and we also request that if you are booked for 2.30pm you do not arrive before 2.00pm - Thank You!
Floral Workshop Day & Lunch Monday 26th March
10.30 am £60 per person
A great way to spend a day with friends having fun but with something to show for it as well! We provide everything you need to make the floral arrangement, including the demonstration and expert help of Ann Seed and Grace Holland, as well as morning coffee and lunch with a glass of fizz.

Easter is a time for families and what better way to round off the Easter weekend than a family lunch at Gibbon Bridge on Easter Monday? All children, under 14, will receive an Easter Egg.

Our popular gardening day is a little bit later this year so a slightly different view of the garden will be on show this time. Join us for coffee at 10.30 am followed by a guided tour of the garden and then a delicious lunch with a glass of wine.

You could say that the traditional afternoon tea played a major part in the story of the Gibbon Bridge. Janet’s dream over 30 years ago was to open a small café in which passing cyclists and walkers could enjoy a pot of tea and freshly baked scones. Today our afternoon tea menus are available from £6 for homemade fruit scones, lemon cheese, fresh cream & pot of tea to £26 for a glass of Champagne, a selection of sandwiches, cream cakes, scones & a pot of tea. For anyone who has been part of a couple and then finds themselves bereaved it is often difficult doing things on one's own. The idea of the WWS Club is to hold regular events for these individuals to come to so that they can feel comfortable attending on their own as well as having the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. The WWSC also offers discounts to members on luncheons and other events at the hotel including accommodation.
