Welcome to the Gibbon Bridge Hotel

Gibbon Bridge was established 30 years ago last November when my mother and I decided to diversify from farming. We started with six bedrooms and a bar. The business continued to grow, and with it the hotel, and we now have an award winning country hotel with 30 bedrooms and 23 acres of award winning gardens. It is still my home and my passion, and I enjoy nothing more than sharing it with others. I want you to feel at home here too and for you to be able to relax and enjoy our gardens, the fabulous scenery and our locally sourced food. Hotel

An independent, privately owned, four star country hotel offering luxury accommodation, fine dining and first class professional service.  The Gibbon Bridge Hotel Chipping is situated in the Forest of Bowland.  The area offers numerous opportunities for lovers of outdoor pursuits; cycling, walking, fishing and golf or for those interested in history there are local villages, houses and churches.  Retail therapy is always an option in nearby Clitheroe, Preston or even Manchester and there are several interesting farm shops locally.  Ribbley Valley is also renowned for its food heroes and cheese producers and there is the Ribble Valley Food Trail which incorporates many well known names & products.  We're certain that when coupled with our first class service, your stay at Gibbon Bridge will exceed your expectations!

As well as our welcoming Restaurant, food can be served in our stunning Orangery, our elegant Conservatory, our cosy Cavalier Lounge, or you can even dine under the stars in our beautiful gardens.

An outstanding feature of the Gibbon Bridge Hotel is our award-winning gardens - our 23 acres are some of the finest among Lancashire hotels. As well as exceptional landscaping and water features, we are proud to have our own kitchen garden, where an abundance of seasonal produce is grown, providing our chefs with the finest, freshest, truly "local" ingredients.

The Gibbon Bridge Hotel is ideally situated in the Forest of Bowland - an area rich in natural beauty. Walking and cycling routes abound, with bicycles available to hire locally. Other popular activities include golf, shooting and horse-riding, all local to our Lancashire hotel.
