A loyal team at Gibbon Bridge Hotel

The success of Gibbon Bridge would not be possible without the hard work, dedication and loyalty of “The Team”. Many employees have worked at Gibbon Bridge since the very first day - Philip Holland and Susan McGill.

The longest serving title though must be awarded to Robert Lowe; the Head Gardener who worked for Janet as a general handyman even before the Hotel began. We are delighted to say that a grand total of a further five employees have been employed for over ten years.

A perfect balance of individual personalities, different skills, experience and professionalism brings about successful teamwork, which ensures that each guest has a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay.

Within the grounds of the hotel a statue bears the Latin inscription meaning “Forever the Richer”.  It was originally located on the Bishopgate offices of the Bank of Scotland, and also seen on their bank notes.  Now at Gibbon Bridge Janet and The Team always hope the inscription reflects the feelings of the guests.

“I think it is the inner belief in the product and service that we offer that is the reason why so many of my employees are still with me today and create such a committed team.”

"THE place to be!"

THE place to be!

The first time we stayed at Gibbon Bridge was for my nephew's wedding - and it was the best wedding I have been to, no bias!! The hotel, gardens, bar, food and staff could not be bettered in any way.
I have been several times since, including for Mothers' Day lunch. This place makes every event extra special and I look for any excuse to travel to Chipping and to Gibbon Bridge

"Absolutely perfect in every way"

Thank you for everything that you all did to make Sunday such a special day for my parents and for all of us. It was absolutely perfect in every way and we all had such a memorable time. Please would you be kind enough to pass on my comments to all concerned. Thank you.
