A loyal team at Gibbon Bridge Hotel

The success of Gibbon Bridge would not be possible without the hard work, dedication and loyalty of “The Team”. Many employees have worked at Gibbon Bridge since the very first day - Philip Holland and Susan McGill.

The longest serving title though must be awarded to Robert Lowe; the Head Gardener who worked for Janet as a general handyman even before the Hotel began. We are delighted to say that a grand total of a further five employees have been employed for over ten years.

A perfect balance of individual personalities, different skills, experience and professionalism brings about successful teamwork, which ensures that each guest has a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay.

Within the grounds of the hotel a statue bears the Latin inscription meaning “Forever the Richer”.  It was originally located on the Bishopgate offices of the Bank of Scotland, and also seen on their bank notes.  Now at Gibbon Bridge Janet and The Team always hope the inscription reflects the feelings of the guests.

“I think it is the inner belief in the product and service that we offer that is the reason why so many of my employees are still with me today and create such a committed team.”

"Our wedding was perfect"

Our wedding was perfect... The hotel and grounds were wonderful and the food just right.  All our guests enjoyed their day and each one passed compliments on every aspect.  Thank you so much for arranging such a fantastic day.

"We had an amazing day"

I just wanted to say a massive thank you our wedding could not have been more perfect.  Your team guided us through the day effortlessly, keeping everything running smoothly so all we had to do was concentrate on our wedding day and our guests.  From Friday I thought both rooms and the bar looked the part and they did not disappoint on the day.  The food was superb, with all our guests making comments of how delicious and perfectly cooked it all was….  We had an amazing day and would not change a thing, please pass on our sincere thanks to all involved.
