For over thirty years the Gibbon Bridge was the family farm, until its conversion into a sumptuous, four star country hotel by owner Janet Simpson and her late mother, Margaret. The hotel buildings combine traditional rural architecture with interesting Gothic masonry rescued from a dismantled local church to create distinctive surroundings. Twenty-nine spacious and split-level suites offer superb accommodation. They are furnished with charm and character with your comfort in mind. Many suites are complete with whirlpool baths, four-poster, half tester or Gothic beds.
The restaurant has a reputation for complementing the quality and individuality of each dish by utilising local fresh produce and vegetables, fruits and herbs from the extensive kitchen gardens.
