The Conservatory is the main room available for wedding breakfasts however if you are considering a wedding of under 60 guests then the Orangery, Cavalier Lounge and Alfresco areas are also available.
Where ever you are dining we will ensure the food on the day is special and to our normal high standard. All our produce is sourced locally, whether from our own kitchen gardens, bakery or local suppliers, and freshly cooked on the day.
We are able to offer canapes or granary bites to accompany your reception drinks, and there is an extensive choice of dishes for you to choose a set three course meal from for your guests. Extra courses, such as soup, sorbet, fish, cheese, can be added and we are always happy to discuss other menu options with you. Everyone has to have a set meal but we can cater for vegetarians and any special dietary requirements that your guests may have.
For a smaller, more intimate summer wedding, you may want to consider dining in one of our Al fresco dining areas. After the ceremony you can enjoy drinks on the terrace and then retreat to our specially designed garden dining areas with seating for between 12-22. The wedding breakfast would be more informal with shared platters of food.
The Conservatory is a ‘room with a view’ overlooking the terrace, award winning gardens and stunning scenery of the Forest of Bowland. The recent addition of glass bifolding doors and two skylights, with two magnificent glass chandeliers adds a touch of opulence to a light and spacious room with seating for upto 130 guests. A marquee can be added to the front of the room to extend the space to sit up to 190 guests. The gothic stonework, and cast iron pillars, compliment the contemporary wall covering and the adjoining bar space, with an open fire and comfortable leather furniture, create the perfect environment for your big day. A dance floor offers you the option of evening entertainment and after the meal your guests can relax in comfort in the bar or outside on the terrace.
Adjoing the upper terrace is the Orangery. It is the perfect location for those hosting a smaller wedding of up to 50 guests. The glass roof floods the space with natural daylight and in the evening the mood lighting creates a stylish ambience. Although this room is not suitablle for dancing, a pianist or string quartet can provide background entertainment.
