CHRISTMAS has arrived at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel with an awe-inspiring extravaganza of seasonal trimmings . . . sure to put you in the Yuletide Mood.

Our roaring log fires, fresh n’ festive flower displays - and unique objet d’art - are all offset by a wondrous winter wonderland, both inside and out.

Gibbon Bridge girls Grace Holland and Ann Seed spent six days creating a dazzling decorative display with thousands of fairy lights, snow-laden landscape, polar bears, reindeers and a special spot for Santa’s visit on December 23rd.

Here are some random festive facts you didn’t know . . .

LIGHT FANTASTIC:

A staggering 16,000 festive bulbs have been used to festoon the lounge and dining areas, 23-acre grounds, and four VIP suites.

TREE-MENDOUS:

There are a total of 36 Christmas trees, from traditional to uber modern, situated throughout the hotel and inside rooms.

DEER-Y ME!

If your children are little explorers; there are more than 16 reindeers to discover, dotted around the hotel.

NATIVITY:

Our famous nativity display - specially commissioned for the hotel by proprietor Janet - is 30 years old this year.

"Everything was perfect"

Many thanks to you and all the team for making Rebecca & Alex’s day so special.  Everything was perfect and the day ran smoothly as we knew it would at Gibbon Bridge.  The food and service were excellent as always and the gardens stunning.

"Wedding Venue"

We stayed at this hotel for two nights to celebrate our friends wedding. The room was magnificent! On two floors with a lounge and bathroom on the ground floor and a massive bedroom with a super king size 4 poster bed upstairs. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous with a water feature, a pergola for the ceremony, and a little river running at the bottom. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Janet Simpson the owner must be the hardest working lady in the world, she gets stuck in and helps make the lovely breakfasts. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. This is the place to get married, if you want to do it properly!
